We support women and children fleeing abusive homes and abandonment situations who need temporary assistance to escape and seek a better environment for themselves and their children.
Financial Crisis Situations
We support families with housing support in financial crisis situations such as medical emergencies, chronic illness of Mom or children, housing displacements, and family status changes.
Natural Disaster Relief
We are there in natural disasters to help pick up the pieces and get families back on their feet with housing support.
Who we are
Shelter in the Storm is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping women and children in crisis situations. Whatever the cause, everyone deserves a safe place to live allowing children to grow and develop in a safe place. We are dedicated to providing that safe place to women and children.
