Shelter in the Storm was started by husband and wife, Tobin and Lynn Forbus. They share a passion for giving back to their community and in particular, women and children in crisis or emergency situations. They strive to help women be empowered to make the best decisions for their family by helping them manage the financial strain of rent and home ownership. They have funded Shelter in the Storm to allow it to own a home that helps finance the mission of the non-profit.
